{Important} Our patissier believes that art shouldn't be about making copies. Every piece is uniquely handcrafted, and may incorporate fresh ideas. So, just like all things natural, colours and shapes will vary. Nevertheless... we put all our heart into making you the yummiest sweets! (^~^)

Philosophie

The Garden of the Hesperides

La Pomme d'Éden

Once upon a time, there was a garden called Eden where art flourished beautifully. It grew more beautiful each day with the precious imagination of its people.

They operated in small cosy workshops, producing a limited range of objet d'art. Each piece is a little bit different, enjoying its own wonderful moment of creation. And each one has a little life, carrying a part of the maker.

In this sacred garden yet untarnished by the hands of mass production, there lies a fruit of passion. La Petite Pomme.

Mami

IMG_0318c

{Mami loves} everything sweet and everything art. Growing up in Kobe, a Japanese town that’s famous for its patisseries, she indulged in some of the world’s finest cakes, puddings, macaroons, chocolates and sweets.

When she visited Paris, the birthplace of patisserie, she was surprised. Japan’s desserts were not only much smaller, but also more detailed and expressive at the same time. They have more layers, texture and colours in all sorts of lovely designs. It was art! It was inspiration.

In 2008, Mami combined her two greatest loves. She handcrafted miniature sweets that look amazingly real. And when cookies crumble, ice creams melt, and candies go to naughty ants, her sweets will always be there to bring you joy!

Today, she serves you her latest creations, promising to melt your heart, especially if you have a sweet tooth :)

There were many challenges throughout the entire process of setting up La Petite Pomme, but your amazing support have always reminded us that it's all worth it! A big part of your kind contribution goes to the purchase of new art materials that allows us to explore new creations and make you even sweeter pieces :) We would like to say a big thank you... THANK YOU!

{Share} La Petite Pomme with all your friends and make our world a sweeter place :)
